WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Support daily production activities and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
- Assist with the handling, movement, and placement of raw materials and finished products
- Operate forklifts and other equipment in accordance with safety procedures, where authorized
- Conduct routine plant inspections and report any deviations or maintenance requirements
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with EHS and company standards
- Support quality processes by ensuring only approved materials and products are processed
- Contribute to productivity improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and care for personal protective equipment and operational tools
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and operational procedures
- Perform additional duties and provide support across the production department as required
WHAT YOU OFFER
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- Minimum NQF Level 2 Theory completed for Chemical Operators, with only the practical training component outstanding, or completed N6 in Chemical Engineering requiring practical workplace training
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and develop within a manufacturing environment
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow procedures and instructions
- Ability to work in a physically demanding production environment
