We are looking for a Long-Term Intern to join the Home Care, Industrial & Institutional Cleaning Laboratory at the BASF Innovation & Technology Center, located in Teknopark Pendik Istanbul!

This opportunity is an excellent starting point for students who can begin in August 2026 and who will continue their Master’s or PhD studies for at least one more year, offering valuable scientific development as well as the opportunity to expand a professional network. 🌱🔬

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Engineering, with studies continuing at least until August 2027.
• Eager to develop technical knowledge and practical skills in a laboratory environment.
• Strong analytical thinking skills, open to innovation and continuous learning, and excellent communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of English.
• Available to work at least 3 days per week and continue the internship regularly until graduation.
• Residing on the Asian side of Istanbul.

Job Description:

• Support laboratory activities related to new product and formulation development.
• Conduct stability monitoring, analytical evaluations, and performance testing of developed formulations, and prepare related reports.
• Monitor laboratory raw material inventories and ensure that material requests are submitted when needed.
• Conduct literature reviews and technical research.
• Prepare reports of completed studies and transform data into presentations and visual graphs.
• Support daily laboratory operations.
• Assist with sample shipments.
• Take an active role and responsibility in team activities.
