WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Within our Middle Office Treasury EMEA team, you gain broad insights into corporate treasury operations and contribute to a variety of activities across Banking, Financing & Planning or Hedging in an international environment. Depending on your background and development path, your responsibilities may include following tasks:
- In this role, you take end‑to‑end responsibility for daily and monthly liquidity planning and financial forecasting, acting as a key interface and sparring partner for Corporate Treasury and other senior stakeholders.
- You oversee cash disposition activities, including manual cash pooling across multiple BASF legal entities in the EMEA region, ensuring liquidity optimization, accuracy, and compliance with internal guidelines.
- you drive and safeguard a consistently high level of cash flow forecast accuracy by performing in‑depth analyses of forecast deviations, root causes, and trends, leveraging detailed reports and insights to actively support informed decision‑making.
- You are responsible for financing activities for BASF companies in EMEA, including coordination, execution, and monitoring of financing measures in close alignment with Corporate Treasury and external partners.
- You ensure high standards of documentation and knowledge management, and you take ownership of recurring and ad‑hoc management reports, contributing to transparency, audit readiness, and informed decision‑making.
- Furthermore, you are expected to actively collaborate and contribute to internal Treasury projects, support compliance and Financial Risk Control (FRC) activities, providing guidance and stability to the team.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- vocational training or completed degree with focus on Treasury, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commercial Business or related fields
- work experience in Accounting, Finance, Controlling or the banking sector is a plus
- knowledge of MS Office and first experiences with SAP or other ERP systems
- analytical skills and technical affinity, first experience in VBA is beneficial
- fluent in English, further languages skills (German, Turkish, Russian, Italian, etc.) are an advantage
WHAT WE OFFER
- Gross annual salary (full-time): 35.000 - 39.000 €, depending on qualification and work experience - in addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success
