WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
You are about to complete your training as a Tax Specialist and are looking for the ideal start to your professional career, or would like to apply newly acquired knowledge in practice? Great, then join our international and continuously growing Financial Reporting team. Support our accounting unit for the German BASF Group companies.
- In addition to the general ledger, you are responsible for fixed asset accounting and ensure reconciliation with the subledgers.
- Furthermore, you are responsible for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, as well as the preparation of income tax calculations for German BASF Group companies.
- You are responsible for preparing the monthly group reporting and answering internal and external inquiries related to reporting.
- In accounting matters, you serve as the central point of contact for our subsidiaries, the subledgers, and BASF’s central finance units.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- commercial vocational training, preferably with a focus on taxation, or a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Controlling, or Taxation
- initial professional experience in external financial reporting as well as knowledge of preparing financial statements in accordance with HGB, ideally, some initial experience with IFRS
- proficient in using common MS Office applications (especially Excel), as well as ideally user-level knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA
- very good German language skills and good English language skills
- high motivation to achieve success together as a team
- an independent way of working and strong analytical thinking characterize your working style
WHAT WE OFFER

Gross annual salary (full-time): 40.000 - 46.000 €, depending on qualification and work experience, 48.000 - 52.000 € possible with correspondingly higher qualifications - In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success
