WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Act as the site subject matter expert for asset management systems and tools, including SAP and Asset Integrity Programs, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of asset records.
- Support compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company asset management requirements while optimizing plant reliability and asset effectiveness through appropriate inspection and maintenance strategies.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs in line with the site's maintenance strategy.
- Support spare parts and equipment reliability strategies by analysing equipment performance, maintenance history, and criticality to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- For major shutdowns and partial shutdowns, you work with colleagues to define the maintenance scope and actively follow up on relevant topics during the turnaround. You take the lead in the gatekeeping process, including TAR Tie-in coordination.
- You manage inspection optimization and strategy. You prepare test and inspection programs and maintain them via periodic maintenance plans.
- Update the spare parts strategy. Use analysis to determine the optimum spare parts holding. Work closely with Maintenance, Project Engineering and Production teams to agree stocks.
- Demonstrate that equipment is fit for service (particularly safety critical equipment) including updating of statutory documents, e.g., EPD, P&IDs. Participate and support the site during internal and external audits.
- Drive asset driven operational excellence / reliability and Lean culture measures (identify and promote efficiencies and overall process improvements using relevant KPIs).
- Manage the development and delivery of relevant and appropriate technical and asset management-related training to site personnel.
- Participate as required in site Accident and Incident Investigations, SHE-Review/HAZOPs, RCFA’s.
- Liaise with external contractors, OEM representatives, etc. during maintenance, shutdown / project planning and execution.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Bachelor's Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience within a petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, or other process manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, shutdown planning, asset integrity management, relevant engineering codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in SAP, asset management systems, engineering software, reporting tools, and data-driven performance dashboards.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, make sound engineering decisions, and support multidisciplinary teams in achieving safety, reliability, and production objectives.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, customer service, and delivering cost-effective engineering solutions.
