The R&D data analyst contractor role exists to support the Product Development Assistant (PDA) tool in 4 areas:

Database and dashboard management

Front (React) & back-end (FastAPI) development

User support for the PDA: onboarding new users, managing & implementing user feedback

Maintain and advance the data infrastructure and related data pipelines.

As a Data Analyst (Contract to Hire), you create chemistry by...

Front- & back-end development of the PDA tool to enhance user experience and fix routine bugs

PDA site reliability and testing, health checks and dashboard management to ensure continuous high-fidelity performance.

Onboard new users to the PDA and support existing users to ensure scientists get the most of the PDA and have a pleasant experience

Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure high quality data is fed into the PDA (Foundry)

If you have...

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or computer science or related quantitative discipline
• Experience with front-end application development and common frameworks (react, typescript, etc.)
• Proficiency in python programming
• Proficiency in data transformations, databases, and data analysis software

Preferred:

• Experience with back-end app development (FastAPI, etc.)
• Experience with Databricks
• Experience with LIMS
• Understanding and experience with MLOps
• Background in soft matter physics, particularly in emulsion polymerization technology, a plus
