WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Join an interdisciplinary digital farming team at the intersection of agriculture, technology and field operations! As working student, you get the chance to gain practical experience in a real-world agricultural setting and to work closely with experts from various disciplines.

• As part of our international team, you support the operational planning, preparation and execution of field trials and assist with all related on-site activities.
• You support your colleagues in setting up, dismantling and maintaining mobile weather stations on agricultural land throughout Germany.
• Right at the heart of the action! You document the field trials and contribute to accurate and comprehensive trial reports.
• In addition, you help to maintain the trial fields in Germany and ensure smooth operation of the technical equipment.
• Last but not least, you assist in coordinating the logistics and transport of mobile (sub-)weather stations and liaise with farmers, project staff and IT specialists.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• enrolled student in agricultural sciences or a comparable field
• sound experience in agricultural testing
• competent handling of standard IT applications such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft operating systems
• driving license class B
• teamplayer with strong communication skills in German and English as well as basic experience in transportation management
• Members from states outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland are requested to send their residence/work permit, including the relevant supplementary sheet as well as the completed questionnaire.

• Remuneration is based on the collective agreement for the chemical industry. With a weekly working time of 20 hours, the current gross monthly salary is 1,803 Euro.
