WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: Build Your Career on Our Standalone Transformation).

This role can be performed either part-time (80%) or full-time. 

• In your new role, you act as the key interface between Senior Executives, payroll providers, Finance, Tax, Legal, and other stakeholders, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll administration and governance processes. 

• You calculate and report bonus provisions, personnel cost surcharges, vacation accruals and other payroll-related obligations for financial reporting and year-end closing activities. 

• Your expertise is in demand when coordinating Long-Term Incentive processes, including participant enrollment, data maintenance, payout administration, Share Ownership Guideline compliance activities, and validation of plan-related data in SAP and supporting systems. 

• Furthermore, you prepare analyses, reports, and documentation for external audits, annual compensation reporting, and executive remuneration-related inquiries while ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance. 

• Right in the heart of things! You coordinate external service providers and payroll partners, validate payroll-relevant transactions, support complex and exceptional cases, and drive the continuous improvement of executive compensation and payroll processes. 

WHAT YOU OFFER

• successfully completed university degree in business administration, finance, human resources, accounting, or a comparable field 

• several years of professional experience in payroll, compensation and benefits, finance operations, in a comparable international business environment 

• strong understanding of payroll processes, accrual calculations, executive compensation programs, and governance requirements with a high affinity for data analysis and reporting 

• excellent English skills as well as proficiency in SAP HR or comparable HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel 

• strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a structured way of working, stakeholder management capabilities, and attention to detail 

• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies
