Wage: $25 - $32 / Hour
During peak periods in the season, overtime will be paid for evenings or weekends.
We are looking for a Canola Seed Production Summer Associate to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Outlook,SK.

Joining our team where you will be involved in plot and field scale trials for the Certified Seed Supply team.

Working with growers within your assigned regions in the production of InVigor canola for market.

Being involved in all aspects of seed production from seeding to harvest, including planting, spraying, crop synchronization, mowing harvesting, sample processing, monitoring the health of the crop as it matures and scouting fields for weed, disease and insect pressure.
- Maintaining relationships with growers and providing agronomic advice in relation to certified seed production under the recommendation of the Production Agronomist.
If you have...
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in delivering results.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and comfort working alone from time to time.
- The ability to be flexible and modify plans as situations arise, minimizing impact on results.
- Experience with farm equipment (highly desired).
- Agronomic knowledge attained through pursuing your degree in Agriculture or similar program, preferably along with experience in the Agriculture or Farming Industry.

Pay Transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $25 - $32. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
