We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain Canada to join our Agricultural Solutions team for our BASF Supply Chain organization in Canada. This position can be located at either the Regina, SK or Calgary, AB sites. 

The Head of Supply Chain Canada leads the country-level Supply Chain organization, owning S&OP/S&OE processes, customer service, logistics and distribution, contract manufacturing management, and recall management, while managing and developing the country supply chain team and driving continuous improvement to secure service, cost, inventory and compliance performance.

As a Head of Supply Chain - Canada, you create chemistry by...

• Leading country-level S&OP/S&OE processes, ensuring high-quality planning, forecast alignment and operational follow-up, and executing supply chain and customer service processes in full alignment with global standards. 
• Managing and developing the country supply chain team, including people leadership, capability building and local resource prioritization. 
• Providing input on supply chain excellence and transformation requirements to the Cluster SCBP, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives at country level. 
• Monitoring and managing supply chain performance metrics (inventory/working capital, service level, cost, delivery performance) and defining corrective actions to minimize financial and operational risks, with accountability for country performance outcomes. 
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of master data, transactional processes, and compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and tax rules. 
• Ensuring high-quality customer service execution, including accurate order handling and issue resolution. 
• Optimizing and executing local logistics set-up and product distribution to ensure high service levels and cost efficiency. 
• Managing contract manufacturing activities and recall management processes at country level, in alignment with governance, procedures and regulatory requirements. 

If you have...

• Bachelor's or Polytechnic University degree, with 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, including leadership experience. 
• Extensive, senior-level supply chain expertise with a domestic/sub-regional geographical scope. 
• Major accountability and decision-making responsibility, reporting to the VP, Head of Supply Chain. 
• Demonstrated a shaping-level strategic impact and the ability to interact and influence across units. 
• Experience and are comfortable managing all direct and indirect FTE costs of the organization, with accountability for sales enablement and net cash contribution outcomes. 
• Are able to travel up to 10%, domestically and internationally.
