General Responsibilities

Strategic and Operational Responsibilities
- Develop and implement crop and portfolio strategies for Central Asia and the Caucasus region (Armenia and Georgia) in close collaboration with Sales and Technical teams.
- Drive profitable portfolio growth by identifying market opportunities, defining development priorities, and ensuring achievement of business objectives.
- Lead marketing initiatives that contribute to sales growth, market share expansion, and profitability improvement.
- Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Participate in European and APE crop management and portfolio development teams to align regional strategies with global priorities.
- Develop and execute local market development initiatives and promotional activities.
- Define marketing communication, advertising, and sales support activities for target customer segments utilizing CRM tools and customer insights.
- Monitor sales performance, product availability, and profitability at product level, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Identify key customers and market segments across the region.
- Drive portfolio development, customer segmentation, and product positioning initiatives.
- Develop crop-specific marketing materials and coordinate marketing activities across functions and countries.
- Lead product launch planning and execution for assigned markets.
- Ensure effective positioning and development of crop protection solutions in collaboration with local Sales teams and Crop Managers.
- Provide marketing expertise and support to regional Sales organizations.
- Define crop-oriented product offerings and portfolio solutions.
- Actively contribute to APE Crop Marketing communities and working groups.
- Collaborate with regional teams on short- and mid-term portfolio planning, including Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects.
- Ensure efficient cross-functional cooperation between Marketing, Technical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales functions.
- Combine leadership responsibilities with the role of Crop Marketing Manager for Cereals across Central Asia and the Caucasus region.
WHAT YOU OFFER
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar marketing leadership position, preferably within an international organization.
- Strong experience in agricultural marketing and crop protection products.
- In-depth knowledge of the crop protection market and agricultural value chains.
- Comprehensive understanding of marketing concepts, segmentation strategies, market development, and promotion tools.
- Proven project management skills.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications.
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above; knowledge of Kazakh is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
