WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).

• In your new role, you will be responsible for the legal support of employment, social security, and pension‑related matters concerning our senior executives.
• Your responsibilities will include independent drafting, careful review, and reliable administration of employment law contracts.
• In addition, you will provide comprehensive advice to executives on employment law, contractual, and pension‑related topics.
• You will further develop executive benefit programs conceptually and implement them in practice.
• Moreover, you will coordinate global benefit programs and take responsibility for legal assessments as well as contract drafting.
• As part of M&A projects, you will contribute your employment law expertise and ensure legally compliant implementation. You will also have the opportunity to bring in your labor law expertise in further topics like collective bargaining and other codetermination topics.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• fully qualified lawyer ("Volljurist:in") with a completed degree in law with a focus on German labor and employment law
• several years of professional experience, as well as a strong interest in employment law and enjoyment of teamwork and advisory work with international colleagues
• experience advising executives and drafting contracts
• very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
• strong communication skills and negotiating ability
• passion for our industry and a love for farming to contribute to the biggest job on earth
