WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
As the Legal & Compliance unit, we are responsible for safeguarding the legal interests of the Agricultural Solutions (AP) business sector. We are responsible for providing independent and autonomous legal advice to the BASF Group’s Agricultural Solutions business sector on all legal matters, including the resolution of legal issues, and we ensure that the company and its employees act in accordance with the law and comply with regulations.
- In your new position, you provide comprehensive legal guidance to the Agricultural Solutions division and contribute sound legal assessments that support responsible decision-making.
- Together with your colleagues, you support legally compliant conduct across the organization and help employees understand and apply legal requirements in their day-to-day work.
- In close collaboration with internal and external partners, you contribute the legal perspective to exchanges with policymakers and public authorities and support the representation of shared interests.
- In addition, you design and deliver legal training that helps colleagues understand relevant requirements and confidently integrate them into their daily work.
- Last but not least, you draft and negotiate agreements with a variety of partners and collaborate with stakeholders to develop sustainable and legally sound solutions.

WHAT YOU OFFER
- completed Second German State Examination in Law or a comparable legal qualification with honors
- sound expertise in civil law and an interest in contributing this knowledge in an accessible and solution-oriented way
- good expertise in public law and an interest in collaborative work at the interface with policymakers and public authorities
- very good communication skills in German and English, ideally complemented by international experience
- appreciative and clear communication, empathy and a collaborative mindset, combined with a self-organized, responsible and learning-oriented approach
- proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
