MAIN TASKS:

• Store and Inventory Management

1. Receiving and storage of chemicals according to their chemical classes
2. Making Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
3. Issuing lab chemicals and consumables
4. Performing periodic inventory safety checks & audits
5. Immediate reporting of any issues related to chemical inventory system (ERP) and following up with the ERP accountable to resolve the same
6. Identifying near “expiry date” chemicals, informing to chemist & sending for disposals based on feedback received
7. Review of inventory and raising orders for consumables & common chemicals/solvents as needed
8. Ensuring safety & compliance with local laws & company policies

• Legal Compliance

1. As a store responsible, ensuring safety & legal compliance e.g., wrt to class A solvent storage, Poison store, Narcotics substances & solvent/chemical handling licenses
2. Staying UpToDate with new guidelines/directives issued from time to time 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in inventory management
• Should be fluent in communication
• Proactive, result driven and entrepreneurial approach towards tasks
