WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Lead and develop the Quality team to achieve quality, safety, and operational objectives
- Define and implement quality strategies, plans, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with site goals
- Manage all quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure products meet required specifications and customer expectations
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System, including ISO 9001:2015 compliance and audit readiness
- Review quality results, approve product release decisions, and provide recommendations on quality-related issues
- Ensure laboratory operations are efficient, compliant, and supported by effective maintenance programs, procedures, and testing methods
- Drive root cause analysis, non-conformance management, investigations, and corrective actions to improve quality performance
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to implement process improvements and optimize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all quality, EHS, regulatory, and company requirements across laboratory and site activities
- Manage quality records, certificates of analysis, trial samples, departmental budgets, and quality reporting
WHAT YOU OFFER
- Degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum 8 years of quality management experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing quality systems within a manufacturing or production environment
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 implementation, maintenance, and auditing; Certified Internal Auditor is advantageous
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, quality control, laboratory operations, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with root cause analysis, non-conformance management, investigations, and process optimization
- Knowledge of EHS systems, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and quality standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and quality-related systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
