WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: Build Your Career on Our Standalone Transformation).
- In your new position, you lead our global team of functional controllers and provide direction for functional controlling across the organization.
- You forecast, control, report, manage and budget overall SG&A costs across all departments in the CEO and CFO areas, including IT & Digital, Global Marketing, Strategy, Procurement, HR and Legal.
- Together with the leadership teams of our functional departments, you actively steer costs and ensure adherence to agreed budgets.
- You harmonize cost accounting and cost steering across all functions and work closely with Business Controlling to ensure effective cost controlling across all countries.
- There’s always room for improvement! Last but not least, you establish a continuous improvement culture to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of functional controlling.
WHAT YOU OFFER
-
university degree in business administration, finance, accounting, controlling or a comparable field
-
several years of professional experience in controlling or finance, ideally in an international environment, combined with leadership experience
-
strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost and performance accounting as well as cost steering
-
excellent English skills as well as confident use of standard MS Office applications; SAP knowledge is an advantage
-
strong leadership, communication as well as project management skills combined with an analytical mindset, a collaborative approach and a drive for continuous improvement
