WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: Build Your Career on Our Standalone Transformation).  

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a strong affinity for Controlling and a passion for turning data into insights that drive business performance. 

• You are an expert in Power BI, you transform regional reports and Power BI dashboards into globally harmonized, scalable reporting solutions and continuously enhance reporting, data models, and automated reporting processes.  

• You translate Controlling and business requirements into meaningful KPIs, reporting concepts, and user-friendly Power BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.  

• You extract, consolidate, transform, and validate data from SAP BW, our Agricultural Solutions data platform, and other relevant sources while working hands-on with Databricks and SQL to optimize datasets, data structures, and transformation logic.  

• You ensure high data quality and reporting consistency by identifying and resolving issues in close collaboration with Controlling, Data Management, and IT teams.  

• As Data Product Owner, you manage requirements, prioritize enhancements, coordinate the reporting community, and align technical developments with relevant stakeholders.  

• You drive the timely delivery of reports, dashboards, and reporting enhancements while balancing priorities and supporting continuous improvements in reporting standards and analytics capabilities.  

• Last but not least, you support and train business users and team members in Power BI solutions, reporting processes, and data structures, fostering knowledge sharing and user adoption.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• strong experience with Power BI and DAX is a must, SQL, and data modeling as well as hands-on experience with databases and modern data platforms such as Databricks  

• successfully completed degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field  

• solid understanding of Controlling and financial reporting processes 

• ability to work independently with complex datasets as well as transform business requirements into reporting solutions and strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills  

• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality 

• user knowledge of SAP S/4, R/3 FI and CO as well as SAP Business Warehouse is beneficial 

• fluent English language skills
