We are looking for an Agronomist to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Memphis, TN.
This position is responsible for the execution of field trialing protocols that support various Breeding and Trait Development programs. Located in Memphis, TN this role is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and evaluating field trials for the purpose of delivering high quality data, in support of product advancement. This role will mainly be focused on soybean and cotton trait efficacy, chemistry, and yield trialing within the Midsouth region. In addition, this team member will ensure high standards of compliance are upheld through collaborations with regulatory, stewardship, quality, and safety teams within the organization.

As an Agronomist, you create chemistry by...
- Executing field trial protocols to support Breeding and Trait Development programmes.
- Establishing, maintaining, and evaluating soybean and cotton field trials to generate high-quality data for product advancement.
- Conducting trait efficacy, chemistry, and yield trialing activities across the Midsouth region.
- Collecting and analysing field performance data to support research and development objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of field trial programmes.
- Upholding regulatory, stewardship, quality, and safety standards across all trialing activities.
- Supporting the advancement of crop innovation through accurate data generation and effective trial management.
If you...
- Hold a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Weed Science, or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma/GED plus 6 years of relevant experience.
- Have experience coordinating and conducting small-plot research trials. Previous experience with cotton or soybean, preferred.
- Are proficient in operating agricultural research equipment and data collection tools such as: tractors, planters, sprayers, drones (UAS), and/or combine harvesters.
- Have experience using trial management and data collection software.
- Demonstrate knowledge of regulated and stewarded crop trial management.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, including supervising contract employees when needed.
- Are willing to work outdoors in varying conditions and flexible hours, including weekends during peak field seasons.
- Hold a Pesticide Applicator License and FAA Part 107 certification, or have the ability to obtain them.
- Are able to travel up to 15%, could be concentrated at different times during the year.
