What you can expect

Within the Imaging unit, we develop unique algorithms that, in combination with light projectors and CMOS-based camera systems, make it possible to simultaneously capture depth information and material properties in imaging form. Merging image data, depth information and material parameters with a camera system unlocks the next generation of machine vision.

  • In your role as a highly motivated software engineer, you will assist our team in taking robotic applications and biometric data collection in mobile applications to the next level.
  • To this end, you will implement and test software components in accordance with functional descriptions and interface definitions.
  • In addition, you will transition algorithmic drafts into functional and high-performance C++ codes and integrate new modules into our computer vision framework.
  • In cooperation with interdisciplinary teams, you will participate in developing and updating products suitable for use by customers.

What we expect

  • You have a degree in information technology, computer science or a comparable field.
  • Additionally, you have already both participated in and successfully concluded programming projects, and you have solid knowledge in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as C++ or Java.
  • You have experience working with version administration systems (e.g. git or SVN) and with frameworks for unit tests (e.g. catch, googletest).
  • Furthermore, you are familiar with documentation tools such as Doxygen or development processes such as Scrum.
  • If you are also able to communicate complex matters in an understandable way in English and German and enjoy taking new approaches in order to develop creative solutions, we will be delighted to receive your application!
