What you can expect

Our unit develops, produces and sells IR detectors and IR detector systems under the Hertzstück brand name. Together with our customers, we develop solutions for various fields of application, such as agriculture, food analysis and spectroscopy, and all the way to spark detection and fire detection.

  • In this position, you will work with the production team, sharing responsibility for and analyzing our production processes, such as chemical bath deposition, mechanical production and electro-optical characterization.
  • You will also ensure a smooth production process and identify potential for improvement regarding quality, costs and cycle time.
  • In addition, you will introduce new production processes as well as automation tools and drive the qualification of new raw materials forward.
  • You will be responsible for the ongoing further development and refinement of our processes as well as technologies during production of IR sensors.

What we expect

  • You have a degree in engineering, physical and/or life sciences, materials science or electrical engineering.
  • Ideally, you have already spent several years working on processes in the semiconductor or electronics sector.
  • Beyond that, you have solid knowledge and skills relating to analysis of process parameters as well as extensive knowledge of quality assurance and process optimization.
  • Ideally, you have experience with semiconductor production, programming of test benches or process engineering, involving chemical precipitation reactions.
  • If you are also persuasive in presentations and discussions in both German and English, we look forward to receiving your application.
