This position is offered under a fixed‑term, project‑based contract, with a minimum guaranteed duration of six months.

Area:

Purchase to Pay Services Americas (P2P) is part of the Supplier and Reporting (GBR) cluster and includes Procurement and Accounts Payable E2E Services for the entire Americas region. In P2P, we are responsible for acquiring goods and services up to the payment stage. Our area processes plant demands and ensures invoices are paid when appropriate so that there are no delays in the production process. Everything required for a chemical plant to operate is purchased by P2P: chemical products, reagents, gloves, food, etc.

 

Main Objective of the Position:

The freight and brokers analyst manages the daily finance operations within the Freight Cost Management team. He/she is responsible for the correct and timely invoice processing according to global KPIs. The freight and brokers analyst works very closely with the account management analyst, ensuring the success of the cluster targets.  

 

Main Tasks:

    • Assures daily business in terms of invoice entry and processing
    • Understands the stakeholder’s specifications and needs and acts as single point for the designated brokers or carriers.
    • Anticipate, identify and evaluate possible risks that may affect the owned process and results to propose mitigation strategies to achieve the established objectives.
    • Periodically report on the progress and status of the brokers and freights daily business and escalate to management as needed.
    • Conduct training and participate in internal initiatives or projects as needed.
    • Seeks for automation opportunities and continuous improvement.

 

   Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position:

  • Education: University Degree or advanced student in Administration, Finance, Foreign Trade, or similar. 
    Working Experience: 2 or + years of previous experience in similar positions. 
  • Languages: English (advanced), Portuguese (valued).
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP and MS Office (Advanced Excel).
  • Soft Skills: Strong customer focus and communication skills.
