Cost Center, Profitability Accounting and Non-Trade Analista Senior

Main Objective of the Position:
Support the business units in preparing the companies' income statements by managing cost center assignments, explaining deviations in results compared to other periods, and conducting monthly EBIT analysis.

Main Tasks:

• Perform daily and monthly activities related to Cost Center Accounting, Income Statement, and Non-Trade processes for BASF group companies and businesses in the Americas.

• Process the monthly distribution of expenses across different cost objects, generating income statements to support business decision-making.

• Ensure consistency between the financial and management modules.

• Provide and analyze the correct allocation of positions in monthly and annual income statements.

• Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures of business lines or companies.

• Contribute to global communities by supporting the subject area lead or expert.

• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities through new technologies and systems.

• Assist with critical organizational tasks, including audits, internal control, and process efficiency improvements.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

• Education | Graduates of Public Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.

• Work Experience | Minimum of 5 years in financial roles.

• Language Skills | Fluent in English. Portuguese is valued.

• Technical Skills | Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and SAP.

• Soft Skills | Strong analytical capacity, high customer focus, and problem-solving skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks. Proactive, autonomous, and effective communication skills.
