This role is offered under a fixed-term, project-based contract, with a guaranteed minimum duration of six months.

Area:

At BASF, our Finance Order-to-Cash (F-O2C) team is critical to ensuring efficiency and reliability in the financial management of our operations in the Americas. From our Hub in Montevideo, we cover the processes from the moment of sale to the moment of payment of customers and are responsible for key areas such as treasury and cash management, accounts receivable, collection management, credit management, intercompany reconciliation and master data of customers and suppliers. Our goal is to maintain robust and agile processes, minimize financial and operational risks, and foster continuous innovation through digitization and automation of tasks.

Main Tasks:

• Contact clients through different communication channels (e.g., emails, calls, WhatsApp); send updated account statements to low-complexity clients and responsible sales teams
• Send necessary information to the Accounts Receivable team to ensure that received payments are applied; and in turn keep client information updated in the Collection tool (Get Paid)
• Communicate to the corresponding team about differences reported by the client regarding billing issues
• Participate in ad hoc meetings with clients and the business
• Comply with processes stipulated in Guidelines
• Assist in the preparation of Internal and External Audits
• Participate in small-scale projects with the support of the focal point

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

• Education | Student or bachelor’s degree in International Business, Communication, or related fields.
• Work Experience | 1 to 3 years in similar roles
• Languages | Advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written.
• Technical Skills | Basic proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SAP is valued.
• Soft Skills | Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and basic problem-solving skills.
