Accounts Payable Analyst NA (fixed-term project-based)

This position is offered under a fixed‑term, project‑based contract, with a minimum guaranteed duration of six months.

Area:

Purchase to Pay Services Americas (P2P) is part of the Supplier and Reporting (GBR) cluster and includes Procurement and Accounts Payable E2E Services for the entire Americas region. In P2P, we are responsible for acquiring goods and services up to the payment stage. Our area processes plant demands and ensures invoices are paid when appropriate so that there are no delays in the production process. Everything required for a chemical plant to operate is purchased by P2P: chemical products, reagents, gloves, food, etc.

Main Objective of the Position:

The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, where communication skills, teamwork, collaboration, and customer focus are valued. The main activities include internal auditing to ensure compliance with corporate card guidelines, customer support, and account reconciliations. You will have the opportunity to learn the full Travel & Expenses Americas process, exchanging knowledge and expertise both within the team and with other areas of P2P and the SDU.

Main Tasks:

• Audit and process employees’ travel expense reports in accordance with the Travel & Expenses process and the country-specific guideline.
• Manage the mailbox and ensure SLA compliance for the service provided by responding to employees in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify process improvements and share them with the team to find solutions.
• Ensure accurate analysis to reimburse employees on time and correctly, and to post the related accounting entries in SAP.
• Work closely with the T&E Americas team to ensure the quality of services and end-to-end (E2E) processes, including cross-region topics.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

• Education: Currently pursuing a university degree or graduated in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
• Work experience: Less than one year of experience in customer service roles or accounting areas.
• Language skills: Advanced language skills in English.
• Technical skills: Basic technical skills in Excel (mandatory) and SAP (preferred).
• Soft skills: Customer Focus; Teamwork and Collaboration.
