RESPONSIBILITIES

We drive mobility. As a special HR unit, our new Mobility Services department is responsible for the demand-oriented and legally secure provision of services for all business travel and international personnel transfers. Whether national and international meetings with our BASF customers, short-term project assignments or long-term assignments abroad - our team makes employee mobility and international career paths possible.

  • In this position you will be working for community and stakeholder management including providing advice on all salary calculation topics.
  • You will collaborate to design a compensation package based on business goals and strategy with a consistent compensation guideline that matches our work and organizational culture.
  • Moreover, you will support conducting salary and labor market research to define benchmarks with keeping abreast with new trends and best practices in the market.
  • You will be involved in optimizing processes, managing and configuring IT-supported applications and taking over day-to-day business.
  • Also, you will collect, evaluate, and prioritize the requirements, select suitable tools and providers in the market and accompany the implementation up to the go-live.
  • Finally, you will conduct periodic merit increase cycle, periodic bonus payment cycle and as well as periodic audits, prepare and present reports on equity.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • degree in human resources, business administration or similar relevant field
  • at least 3 years working experience in compensation; preferably in a mobility field
  • advanced knowledge on compensation principles up to different service providers such as Hay, Mercer, Tower Watson etc.
  • hands on experience with quantitative and qualitative compensation market research
  • strong analytical skills and, at best, experience with quantitative data management and presentation
  • ideally knowledge about SAP HCM or SuccessFactors
  • ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse stakeholders in English; preferably in German as well
  • commitment and openness towards change
