Objectives of the Position

  • Responsible for end to end service delivery of HR Services in Asia Pacific context and act as single point of contact for engagement with Global/Regional HR
  • Provide expert advice and proposals to service recipients through development of deep expertise and staying abreast of current and emerging market insights and legal legislations
  • Manage service recipients’ expectations, drive process improvements, automation, and digitalization measures to offer best service delivery experience

Main Tasks

Operational Excellence

  • Governance role for data quality and data integrity for HR Services, including the development/enhancement of compliance framework, e.g. internal and external audit, access governance, power of attorney, authorization matrix etc.
  • Responsible for the delivery for range of HR Services in Asia Pacific context, i.e. regional career website management, performance management activities, compensation and benefits programs and administration, receive, analyze, process and follow-up on personnel administration requests, salary review exercises, labor administrative activities, learning and development programs and administration, mobility benefits handling for delegates etc.
  • Work with key business stakeholders on diagnostic, design, and development of organization management, suggesting appropriate changes to meet business needs. Accountable for the maintenance of right organization structure, positions, jobs, locations, cost center assignments and reporting lines
  • Accountable on the responds to recurring or ad-hoc business needs to design and to deliver regional specific or customized reports which could not be auto-generated by the analytics/reporting systems
  • Act as single point of contact and work closely with other teams, external service providers to ensure all service requests are completed accurately and timely
  • Actively support manager in monitor, coach and improve the quality and productivity of the team for timeliness and accuracy
  • Actively support manager in managing workload of team by smartly optimizing resource allocations

Service Engagement

  • Monitor and coach the team in providing advisory on employee enquiries, policy/guidelines clarifications, HR processes, HR systems guides etc. in Asia Pacific context
  • Accountable for the monitoring of multiples service requests to ensure services delivered by the team are in accordance with established Service Level Agreement (SLA) and internal Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Responsible for the researches and information gathering on regional market HR news, legislation updates, changes and guidelines, regional centric talent market, emerging leasing agencies to maintain internal knowledge database
  • Analyze, clarify, and resolve operation issues and enquiries with close collaboration with relevant counterparts to ensure quality services are delivered from the hub. Drive the escalation process for all unsolved and potential operational issues independently to ensure effective issue management

Process Improvement and Project Initiatives

  • Accountable for continuous review and knowledge documents maintenance in areas of expertise to develop the formation of competence hub
  • Identify opportunities, prepare business cases, and drive in digitalization and process optimization. Drive the implementation of process improvements, automation and digitalization measures which will be rolled out predominantly in the GB KL Hub for achieving the efficiency target
  • Drive initiatives which contribute to the improvement of service experience
  • Identify deviations from the established blueprints of multiple system processors in HR Services and drive the escalation process in ensuring the capturing of business requirements, system settings, configuration needs and change trackers. Coordinate, provide inputs and participate in user acceptance testing in system maintenance and upgrade, follow up and escalate timely with respective party to ensure fixes or changes can be delivered on time
  • Develop and maintain operating models and procedures for HR Services
  • Key representative for interaction with other service units

People Leadership

  • Works independently within established procedures and practices
  • Contribute positively to a knowledge sharing environment through generously sharing knowledge with others. Responsible for the orientation training and act as buddy to new team member



  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Commerce or Business Administration

Working Experience

  • With 4 - 6 years of related HR working experiences in HR Services.
  • Preferably experience in relevant HR procedures and practices
  • Preferably working knowledge of integrated payroll systems preferably on SAP or integrated talent systems preferably on Taleo, Success Factors.

Technical & Professional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates a good level of proficiency in language
  • Preferably understanding of HR principals and/or Employee Laws of Asia Pacific
  • Strong processing skills and analytical abilities (inclination for Mathematics/Finance/Problem solving).
  • Service mindset with strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft application i.e. Words, Excel, Power Point
