Revenue Support Analyst (2101641) – Wyandotte, MI or Remote


Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer payment difference reconciliation, consignment invoicing management, tax exemption compliance audit support, distributor rebate processing and all additional Revenue Support related tasks are carried out efficiently while ensuring that failure modes causing invoicing errors are identified and corrected. You will interface with CCRs, business personnel, and various functional areas to develop solutions to prevent invoicing errors from reoccurring.

Formula for Success


    Your strong PC skills including SAP and Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint will be essential as you identify, investigate, and reconcile customer payment differences within the timeframe established in Revenue Support Analyst core responsibilities.  You will also provide aging reports as needed for consignments.

  • Applying your superior problem-solving and analytical skills, you will perform root cause analysis to determine failure modes associated with each discrepancy.

  • Utilizing your effective interpersonal skills developed from your previous customer interaction experience, you will interface with customers, customer care representatives and business personnel to develop controls to prevent the errors from reoccurring.

  • Your strong communication skills will serve you well as you liaise with appropriate parties to ensure failure mode controls are coordinated and prioritized for the businesses and are rolled out in an organized fashion.

  • Leveraging your education and experience in a Customer Service, financial or business unit position (ideally within the chemical industry), you will invoice customers accurately and on time for their reported consumption of consignment inventory.

  • Your keen attention to detail will be critical as you perform inventory reconciliation every billing period to ensure customer reported inventory aligns with BASF recorded inventory.

  • Being self-motivated and able to set priorities & make independent decisions, you will identify when BASF is out of compliance and work with CCRs and customers to resolve the issue.

  • Demonstrating your solid organizational skills, you will ensure timely and accurate rebate credits are issued to distributors each month.  You will also manage the Revenue Support Tax email queue.

    Your unwavering commitment to compliance will be evident as you provide support on tax exemption compliance to Customer Care and business units as needed.  You will also collect missing tax exempt certificates from customers.
