We are looking for a Sr. Production Engineer to join our Catalyst team in McIntyre, GA.

BASF’s Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services.

As a Sr. Production Engineer you will be part of a leadership role in supporting manufacturing, process improvements, and new process/product development initiatives.  This role is the primary person that must oversee all agreements with our suppliers and strategic partners in a manner that ensures positive relationships are maintained

As a Sr. Production Engineer, You Create Chemistry By...

• Optimizing plant processes to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve quality.
• Improving safety and environmental performance of the plant by proactively addressing potential issues.
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers and strategic partners to ensure all terms of agreements are met
• Maintaining production reporting to accurately reflect actual plant production.
• Supporting the Operations Manager in oversite of Operations organization

If you...

• Posses a minimum of B.S. degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Materials Science Engineering.   
• Have at least 5 - 10 years of experience in related process industry.
• Have experience interacting with others from other departments/businesses in a positive manner. Continuous improvement experience is a plus.
• Are good at communicating, problems solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Are results oriented with initiative. Leadership skills is desire for increasing responsibilities
• Are a skilled negotiator
