Surventis is a global expert in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings, decorative paints as well as applied surface treatments for metal, plastic and glass substrates in a wide range of industries. This portfolio is supplemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enable new applications with innovative surfaces.
As a Regional Key Account Manager, Automotive OEM you will drive profitable revenue initiatives in the Americas. Being the front-line contact in sustaining and growing current relationships, as well as engaging new customer contacts by showcasing Surventis as the supplier of choice for products and support. Through your relationships with key decision makers, you will ensure customer loyalty and produce accurate and achievable growth. The role responds to customer requirements, enforces product quality/specifications within the organization, to assure our performance meets customer expectations and supports business objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your ability to influence multiple levels both internally and externally and your experience in providing input to strategic planning and strategy execution. You will also get to share your demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills and that you are facts driven and results oriented - able to make fast and accurate responses to customers.
Travel for the role is estimated to be approximately 50%, both domestically and internationally.

- Growing direct sales for targeted Europe based automotive OEMs BMW and Mercedes across North America and serving as regional key contact for the Global Key Account Management
- Building strong relationships internally and externally providing solution recommendations, technical support, and customer conflict resolution.
- Collaborating with field service teams, led by you, to address technical requests or trouble shooting projects related to new or existing products, by managing, initiating, and coordinating initiatives together with labs, supply chain, quality management and production sites.
- Continuously increasing market intelligence and updating customer and competitor data while executing key regional initiatives including, but not limited to, North America strategy planning and execution and driving alignment connecting sales functions to marketing, technical, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.
- Understanding status of global projects/products/initiatives and implications to North America, to provide input representing European OEMs plants in North America.
- Identifying key risks, such as unusual fluctuations, propose mitigation measures and opportunities to manage Surventis' risk related to current and future business.
- Applying your strong business acumen, you will provide accurate sales forecasts, supporting efficient planning of products and services.
If you...
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing or a similar field (preferably).
- Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive coatings industry with background in paint applications and manufacturing (preferably).
- Have high level of entrepreneurial drive with ability to think technically, strategically, and analytically while navigating through all functions.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Can coordinate and manage cross functional teams and are knowledgeable of European business cultures and customs.
