We are looking for a Specialty Herbicides Product Manager to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park, NC.

As the Specialty Crops Herbicide Product Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of the Specialty Crops Herbicide Brands Marketing Plans for the US Crop. You will also lead the development of BASF’s herbicide strategy in targeted "must-win" specialty crop segments, which includes creating a clear business plan for strategic brands, identifying and tracking plan metrics, setting financial objectives, and implementing strategies and tactics in collaboration with sales, our Technical Service Team, and Senior Management.

• Managing an assigned business segment, including operational forecasting and coordinating supply requirements with market developments.
• Engaging with internal and external groups to ensure the implementation of segment-related plans.
• Providing strategic direction and oversight to the Marketing Communications Specialist and Communication Agency for advertising, promotions, sponsorships, and other promotional activities.
• Motivating the sales force and distributors by keeping them informed about products, product performance, and the go-to-market strategy.
• Developing and updating mid and long-term strategies for assigned brands while balancing operational capacities and market share development.
• Participating in ongoing customer interactions to help position BASF and its products effectively in the market.

If you...

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as agriculture, business, or marketing and 5 years' sales/marketing experience preferred. 
• Possess experience in product management or marketing within the agricultural or herbicides industry.
• Have demonstrated skills in operational forecasting and supply chain coordination.
• Exhibit strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
• Possess excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite of products.
• Have a proven track record of engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
