As a Reliability Engineer you will be instrumental in making our site both Reliable and Sustainable in working towards this goal. 

As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer (Entry Level), you create chemistry by…

• Evaluating Preventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance procedures and activities for completeness, effectiveness, and cost control.
• Facilitating Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for equipment issues, documenting and communicating results to the Team.
• Supporting Asset Engineers in Bad Actor program assessments and actively pursuing any actions items deemed necessary to mitigate the Bad Actor thru to completion and supporting the Asset Engineers in Criticality Assessments as needed.
• Supporting the Asset Engineers in Existing Plant Asset Condition (EPAC) assessments and actively pursue any actions needed to complete and maintain this study annually.
• Supporting the Asset Engineers in developing concepts for improvement such that they can be submitted to the Project Engineering Group for further development. This will involve taking ideas/concepts and performing initial front-end work to validate concept feasibility and provide technical focus for project path forward.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

• Leveraging your bachelor's or advanced degree and background in an engineering discipline, along with your work and communication skills. 
• Working in a collaborative and inclusive way is the key to success.
• Experience for this position would be 1-3 years in maintenance and/or reliability in a Chemical or Refinery Plant Environment.
• Strong desire to learn, attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and the focus to work through all the details required to complete an assignment or task.
