  • Collaborating effectively with teams from operations, technology, and sourcing to identify and implement strategies that reduce costs, optimize raw material usage, and assess safety risks in manufacturing processes.
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and upholding rigorous housekeeping standards by adhering to established lab maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Ensuring accurate and organized documentation by maintaining lab notebooks and data records in compliance with established guidelines, including proper labeling of samples and archiving records of procedures, observations, and results.
  • Compiling and analyzing experimental data to prepare comprehensive technical reports and create engaging presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Staying informed on the latest technologies, products, and intellectual property relevant to target active ingredients by reviewing scientific literature and industry developments, proactively generating innovative ideas to enhance processes and product quality.

If you...

  • Hold a degree in organic chemistry or a closely related field, with a requirement of 2+ years of industry experience for PhD holders, 7+ years for MS degree holders, or 10+ years for BS degree holders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to execute complex synthetic reactions independently while adhering to stringent safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment.
  • Possess an advanced understanding of a diverse array of laboratory equipment and instruments, including proficiency in their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in conducting laboratory experiments, recording data, and analyzing results.
  • Exhibit a proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to group dynamics and project outcomes.
  • Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate experimental data, identify trends, and propose innovative solutions for process optimization and improvement.
  • Display excellent planning and organizational skills, enabling the definition of schedules, prioritization of multiple assignments, and effective management of project timelines.
  • Able to travel up to 5-10%, domestically and internationally.
