As a Logistics Technician at the Malcom, IA site, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and semi-trucks in a safe manner to ensure the efficient and timely movement of materials between warehouses and production plants. This role includes the use of computer systems to process documentation, track inventory movement, and support internal workflows to ensure complete and accurate records. Success in this role requires strong communication across multiple work groups which include operations, planning and quality. 

During your 8-hour day shift as a Logistics Technician CDL, you will

• Work with operations to ensure material is delivered to the production plants in a timely manner.  
• Complete paperwork for necessary internal transfers.
• Operate a semi-truck.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Band and shrink wrap drums.
• Label containers as required.
• Complete other required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

If you...

• Possess a high school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting (preferred).
• Are Class A CDL certified
• Hold good computer skills.
• Have Forklift experience (preferred) and/or the ability to learn how to operate a forklift.
• Possess attention to detail, good communication and time management skills.
• Are able to work with little direction.
• Are able and willing to lift up to 50lbs on ocasion.
