The Refinery Catalyst business is a global market leader in Fluidized Catalytic Cracking catalyst technologies.

We are seeking a strategic and adaptable Digital Manager / Product Owner to lead digital transformation initiatives within our Refinery Catalysts business. This role bridges the gap between business needs and digital capabilities, driving innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage through tailored digital solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both technical and commercial domains, enabling seamless communication and collaboration across diverse teams.

As a Digital Product Manager, you create chemistry by...

This includes conducting ongoing market research, gathering stakeholder feedback, and adapting the digital roadmap to evolving business and industry trends.

Leading agile development cycles (SCRUM/Kanban), prioritizing backlogs, and ensuring a transparent, iterative approach to deliver high-value outcomes on schedule.

Providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and facilitating open communication to address project risks, resolving issues, and implementing best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborating extensively across multicultural and cross-functional teams, acting as an effective liaison between business stakeholders and IT specialists. Ensuring mutual understanding and buy-in for technical concepts and solution designs and fostering an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
  • Driving technically complex digital initiatives—including systems integration, cybersecurity measures, and end-to-end transformation projects—by coordinating project assignments, managing timelines, and establishing clear escalation paths. Monitoring project progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Promoting widespread digital adoption, continuous improvement, and a culture of digital excellence by defining measurable KPIs, tracking performance, and sharing results with stakeholders. Actively seeking out and leveraging innovative solutions and strategic vendor partnerships to enhance digital capabilities and deliver business value.
  • Adapting to and fully embodying the culture and values of Refinery Catalysts, EV, and BASF by demonstrating flexibility, open-mindedness, and a commitment to organizational objectives in all interactions and decisions.

If you...

  • Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Digital Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
