Stores Customer Service Representative - Geismar, LA

We are looking for a Stores Customer Service Representative to join our GE team in Geismar, LA location.

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with Procurement and Suppliers to ensure timely resupply of stores stock material to meet the needs of the site Maintenance Community to optimize site equipment function and reliability.  

As a Stores Customer Service Representative, you will

• Demonstrating your proficiency in SAP R3, you will execute fulfillment of reservations, stock put aways, material locates, processing goods receipt of material, discrepancy resolution, credit returns.
• Your collaboration skills will be essential as you work with procurement operational officers to provide timely order fulfillment.
• Your interpersonal skills will be essential as you work with suppliers and vendors to expedite material.
• Utilizing your organizational skills, you will audit and resolve issues with open reservations and kitted materials.
• Demonstrating your knowledge of continuous improvement, you will perform analytical reporting to track KPIs and drive performance improvement.
• You will assist in annual inventory activities.
• You will function as a back up for all Stores functions to include repairable material management, material requisitioning, and material receiving.
• Capability of using material handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, department vehicles)
