As a Fixed Equipment Superintendent, you will be part of the Mechanical Services team, and lead programs for equipment reliability, maintenance, and quality assurance while mitigating risks associated with mechanical integrity at the Geismar site.

As a Engineering Superintendent Fixed Equipment, you create chemistry by...

• Leading the Geismar site Inspection and Corrosion Protection departments, managing contracts, reporting metrics, and optimizing resources based on site needs, mechanical integrity program gap assessments, and budget constraints.
• Contributing to the development of strategies and procedures for Fixed Equipment Mechanical Integrity, maintenance, and Quality Assurance. This includes identifying and implementing new inspection technologies, tools, and best practices, as well as creating training materials for Mechanical Integrity.
• Developing and managing budgets for fixed equipment inspection and site corrosion protection activities, both routine and TAR-related.
• Driving continuous improvement within the Fixed Equipment Group by evaluating new technologies and work processes for piping and equipment inspection and repair, with a focus on cost, delivery, and safety performance.

If you...

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, engineering, fixed equipment (piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks) maintenance and reliability, or other corrosion related field. 
• Have demonstrated broad-based, hands-on expertise and experience across all categories of fixed equipment.
• Possess a solid understanding of maintenance and reliability work processes, including familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as NACE, ASME, API, OSHA CFR 1910.119, and PSM Mechanical Integrity requirements.
• Can influence and motivate site stakeholders to pursue improvement opportunities related to Mechanical Integrity.  
• Have proven ability to work independently and develop strategic procedures and program improvements at a site level.
