Primary responsibilities include (i) supporting the existing metal and wood coatings dispersions product portfolio (market support) through plant support and product modification, (ii) developing new products using existing technical platforms in cooperation with dispersions technical service and marketing. Secondary responsibility will be supporting the development of new emulsion products under the supervision of a R&D Scientist.Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

- Primary: conceptualize, synthesize, and characterize emulsion polymers to support existing metal and wood coatings dispersions portfolio Secondary: synthesize emulsion polymers for new product development in metal and wood coatings dispersions Determine technical routes to develop new products using existing technology in the market support function Gather information and literature (internally and externally) Meet customer timelines determined in collaboration and coordination with the Industrial Coatings market support team
