Production Support Officer

As Production Support Officer you will be responsible for supporting the manufacture of product through the completion of projects and coordination of activities to meet customer requirements and improvements to the production process.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Support the Production department improvement projects by developing new and existing procedures, coordinating activities and contractors as required. Support Production Supervision to deliver process improvement opportunities.
• Site GAP administrator and department leader for OpEx. Ensuring accurate data entry on a daily basis, upskilling the production team  and producing monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate department risk assessment update requirements, ensuring risk assessment criteria is met and support the tech approval of completed assessments.
• Support Supply Chian to ensure Production Planning activities are well managed
• Support Production department in management of daily plant operations. Support management of department QMS (Change, CAPA, Deviations and general master control items), document archiving and EHS (EHS Deviations, Permits, Plant inspections, Risk Assessments)
• Manage the Kaizen initiative to promote process improvement mindset within the production department and the organisation of department training needs.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• SVQ  level 4  or equivalent qualification within a manufacturing, Engineering or Process Technology Environment

• 4 Standard Grades at level 1 or 2 (Math’s and English with others in Technical or Scientific Field)
• 2 years cGMP trained with experience with the following systems; SAP, SCADA, Master Control, Windows, Excel and Word
• Ability to make effective and pragmatic decisions in pressured situations and must be able to demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines.
