We are looking for a Shipper to join our Catalyst team in Attapulgus, GA.

BASF’s Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services.  

During your 8-hour shift as a Shipper, you will

• Perform any duties as required by assigned Team Leader or member of Management. Routinely participate in area housekeeping audits with Team Leaders and Management. Follow direction.
• Understand, monitor, and operate within process safety operational guidelines and report process safety incidents. Complete process safety training as required by company. 
• Be able to send e-mail notification on any repairs needed to the Team Leader, Production Specialist & all operators in the area. 
• Work as a team with the other Logistics operators to set priorities on workload and to accomplish workload as scheduled. Collaborate with Team Leader if needed to set priorities. 
• Safely operate a forklift

If you...

• Hold a HS Diploma
• Have a valid driver's license
• Previous experience with forklift operation
• Understand oral and carry out oral and written instructions
• Basic computer skills knowledge
• Read, write and perform accurate arithmetic calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. 
• Physically able to lift fifty (50) pounds, walk / work on uneven surfaces, climb and work in high or elevated area (i.e., climbing and descending stairs repetitively during a shift).
