We are looking for a Senior Technician to join our RG team in Attapulgus, GA.

Our group focusses on the research, development, scale up and testing of innovative catalyst for the refining/FCC market.  As a Senior Technician for Customer Service Request you will be responsible for preparing customer samples for current and prospective customers  and shipping to them to our global customers.  

During your 8-hour shift as a Senior Technician, you will

• Independently work with our account managers and technology team to supply both our current and prospective customers with advanced catalysts samples.
• Be the liaison with our plants, product regulatory and import sanctions team to be aware of global EHS and shipment regulations.
• Work collaboratively with our account managers and technology teams to provide our current and prospective customers with advanced catalyst to meet their needs.
• Maintain accurate records of all sample shipments with QC data with a basic level understanding of our product portfolio.
• Create Standard operating procedures as required and actively participate in all BASF safety practices and programs.

If you...

• Have a B.S. in Chemistry or related sciences or Associate degree in Chemistry or Chemical Technician or related science with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Have basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, analytical methods and instrumentation.
• Have strong written/verbal communication, data analysis, organization, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Have a strong background in use of MS Office tools.  Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Have Knowledge of safe handling of chemicals and equipment including detailed record keeping.
• Can safely lift up to 50 lbs.
