We are looking for a FCC Make up Operator to join our Catalyst team in Attapulgus, GA.

BASF’s Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services. 

This position has site‐wide responsibilities for processing orders, following procedures and performing duties relative to working with reactors, tank farms and batch transferring. This position interacts daily with the Area Superintendent.  The employee will be required to understand, monitor and operator within process operational guidelines and report safety incidents.

During your shift as a FCC Make Up Operator, you will

•    Perform seeds quality testing as per Process Order as well as work with reactors for heating and cooling.
•    Understand and explain process that perform the set reactor rates.
•    Sample, quality test, and reactor temperature are a constant concern for this Operator.
•    Set up mixing processes and transfer materials from silo to bin experience is necessary.
•    Be aware of your surroundings and how to explain the process to others.

If you...

•    Have a High School Diploma or GED.
•    Have Industrial experience (preferred).

Pay transparency

The pay rate for this role is $28.89  per the Union's collective bargaining agreement.
