Role specific activities (what is expected of you as an employee)
  • Business / conceptual consulting for Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules including all components as well as usage of best practice approaches fitting into BASF architecture and processes as aligned with overall BASF lead architects for Sales & Marketing
  • Marketing Cloud Know-How required for all Modules such as Journey Builder, Advertising Studio, Data Studio, Social Studio, Google 360 Integration, Interaction Studio, Web & Mobile Studio etc.
  • Design and estimation of implementation efforts
  • Configuration and Operation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud including all components
  • Potential custom development / enhancements on Salesforce Marketing Cloud including all components
Required (Education, Additional Qualifications and experience)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer science, Software Engineering or comparable from an accredited college or university is required
  • Knowledge of digital customer journey mapping, persona definition & experience management
  • Know-How and ability to consult and implement Marketing Journeys, Campaigns, Newsletters – design of business Marketing processes (such as journeys, lead / opportunity, subscription, consent processes)
  • Know-How in Change Management for modern Digital Marketing processes
  • Know-How and ability to consult and implement social media / social listening tools & channels as well as banner ad campaigns etc. (such as Facelift, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Multi-channel management in owned, paid and earned channels & online customer activation / engagement / conversion
  • Principles of AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action), content marketing, and the values of seamless experiences at the right time to satisfy customer’s emotional and rational demands

 

Nice to have (Education, Additional Qualifications and experience)
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle, change/release management process
  • General Know-How and ability to create
  • Experience with AMP – script for Sales Force Marketing landing pages
  • Know-How in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Know-How and ability to integrate Sales & Marketing processes within available systems (Salesforce Marketing & Sales Cloud / Communities Cloud / Service Cloud / Commerce Cloud)
  • GDPR / CCPA / LGPD (& other legal requirements) Knowledge and ability to design and implement compliant marketing processes
  • Continuous Improvement of (micro) conversions by applying A/B tests, interpretation of customer feedback/behavior to adapt campaigns and reacting to market requirements
  • Usage of agile tools as given by BASF (e.g. Azure DevOps Cloud, ATS stack like JIRA / Confluence)
  • Test automation
  • IT-Security knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure on non-routine and highly complex tasks.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe.
