= Objectives =
• Manage sales and customers and achieve the sales and profit targets
• Support business development by identifying sales potentials, new customers and applications
• Research and update market intelligence to supervisor/team

= Main Tasks =
Sales & customer management
• Plan and manage EMO (Oleo Chemicals & Alcohols) business including key accounts and direct accounts/dealers/distributors to meet sales target; ensure account strategies are exploited consistently including new opportunities.
• Report all opportunities into Dynamic Margin Optimization (DynaMO) process at least one month in advance.
• Maximize profitability by contributing to the full utilization of assets in Asia Pacific and not limited by local view
• Enhance account relationships and meet sales targets for each assigned account and as per KPI’s via replacement or project activities including calling and visiting existing/prospective customers to fully understand and identify their needs to create a long-term customer supplier relationship.
• Timely response to customer request including product information, technical support via coordination with technical, customer services, logistics, Regional Pricing and Margin Management, regulatory affairs, etc as necessary to solve customer problem/NCM and to enhance customer service and satisfaction

Sales performance
• Develop strong client relationships over time that provide significant inputs to product planning, price and service strategies, manage and share relevant information, and update in systems
• Consolidate data and prepare analysis e.g. customer needs, including product application, sales potentials, services requirements, buying cycles, delivery schedules and internal regulations like pricing structure for defined, customer credibility/ profiles to help secure/enhance business opportunities and identify future customers.

Contract and payment receivable management
• Coordinate with the personnel of customer services, logistics and inventory control to support the delivery of sales. Carry out pricing and payment policies as per strategies and advice given by Regional Pricing and Margin Management and update database of customer creditability according to company credit policies.
• Trace the customers’ payment process to ensure timely payment of receivables to meet established sales targets and revenue goals and follow-up overdue payments.

Market intelligence
• Collect data to establish a database to obtain, update, maintain and evaluate market trends, application of products/technology and service needs, etc in order to support identifying new business opportunities. Conduct initial analysis as necessary and requested.
• Collect and monitor competitor activities, initially analyze data for market research to develop competitor grid and benchmarking on competitors’ positioning and the performance of their competitive products.
• Analyze monthly sales/profit performance, proactively prevent business lost and initiate action for recovering
• Provide timely reports to supervisor/ team members


= Job Requirements =
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline
• Proven successful performance with minimum 6 years’ working experience in sales & marketing
• Result oriented, able to identify and exploit business opportunities, commodity sales processes, EMO product line
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Selling and negotiation skills
• Excellent English speaking
