Officer, Indirect Procurement Operations & Process Excellence(007243)
BCTS currently employs approximately 400 individuals. In addition to sales and marketing, the company operates a resin plant for automotive coatings industry, producing a range of raw materials of coatings, including acrylics, polyester, polyurethane, e-coat binder, and intermediate grinding resin. A global Digital Transformation Unit (DTU) and global / regional R&D facilities are also operated by BCTS. The R&D facilities consist of spray booths, drying chambers, simulation line laboratories, and physical testing laboratories, which are used to test, refine, and innovate intermediate and finished products related to automotive coatings. DTU analyzes prospective future business sectors for coatings industry to offer digital solutions.
Objectives:
- Execute and monitor purchase-to-pay process for indirect cluster, to ensure delivery reliability targets and efficient end-to-end process
- Assist internal departments (e.g. Engineering, HR, Legal, etc.) in following procurement guidelines and purchase-to-pay procedures.
- Actively steer buying channel usage to target high degree of automation
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, documentation requirements, and procurement policies
Main Tasks:
- Execute the purchase-to-pay process with day-to-day operational tasks (e.g. generate Purchase Orders, process Purchase Requisitions), collaborate with various stakeholders (requisitioners, buyers, vendors, …) and solve supply-related issues
- Coordinate order intake and complete master data maintenance including document collection (e.g. certificates)
- Train internal stakeholders to follow procurement guidelines and to use proper platform for request raising
- Support in the implementation of procurement strategies
- Coordinate non-conformity investigations with internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Min. 3 years working experience with procurement, sales or supply chain. Indirect procurement experience is a plus.
- Skilled with ERP system. SAP purchase-to-pay module experience is a plus.
- Good English skills in both writing and speaking. Additional language is preferred (Japanese, Thai)
- Strong communicator with a service-oriented mindset, able to independently resolve inquiries and collaborate effectively with colleagues globally.
- Open minded and passionate on taking challenging tasks.
- This role offers a 1-year fixed-term contract.
