BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Guangdong Verbund site project would be BASF's largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completion and would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. The site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide, and will be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the latest digital technologies and applying the highest safety standards.

Main Tasks:
- Responsible for providing Engineering management for multiple Zhanjiang Verbund Site (ZVS) CapEx projects or eMOC. 负责给巴斯夫湛江一体化基地新型投资或在役工厂改造项目提供设计管理。
- Responsible for functional, on time and within budget technical planning for the technical processing and procurement of SIS for very large/complex projects and project groups. Support cost estimations of SIS part for projects
- Monitor and supervise suppliers,promotes and uses continuing relationships with SPLC suppliers to obtain total cost of ownership benefits.
- Consulting function in area of expertise and with EPC-contractors. Assumption of tasks in external panel of experts.
- Provides technical support to resolve issues regarding SIS and to promote best practices and effective use of the latest knowledge across SIS.
- Development of specifications,ITBs and typical solutions to support projects.
- Responsible for resource estimation of SIS experts to support projects,studies, maintenance services and other activities related to SIS.
- Coordination of quality assurance for goods and services.
- Compliance with agreed health, safety and environmental objectives
- Early coordination of tasks and responsibilities within the respective project.
- Alignment of all team members within the project/in sub-projects towards the common project objectives.
- Active and intercultural cooperation with clients, EPC contractors as well as all project participants within the BASF Group.
- Support/coordinate SIS relevant activities in global/regional technical community
- Protects BASF know-how and confidential information



Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor degree in process control mandatory.
- Master degree is an advantage
- Working Experience:
- At least more than 8 years total work experiences mandatory
- At least more than 5 years work experiences in specific professional field (in SIS/Process control field) preferable
- At least more than 3 years work experiences in chemical and petrochemical industry mandatory
- International experiences will be an advantage
- Working experiences as Teamplayer will be an advantage
- Technical & Professional Knowledge:
- Good written English and verbal communication skills mandatory
- Good SIS engineering/maintenance knowhow mandatory
- Good Planning and Scheduling skills mandatory
- Good experience with chemical industry mandatory
- Job Related preferable skills:
- Fluent Chinese (Mandarin) skills preferable
- Good skill in DCS preferable
- Good skill in SIS preferable
- Skilled in Project management preferable
- Skilled in Project and cost controlling preferable
- Experience in instrumentation engineering is preferable
- Good skilled in relevant software/tools like CAD, MS Project preferable
- Skilled in Purchasing preferable
- Travel: Frequent travelling and assignments globally required
