
Manager, Electrical(005489)
Main Tasks
- Develop site maintenance management strategy and processes as well as its contractor’s strategy.
- Work together with asset management and 1st line maintenance team to develop the site electrical related equipment preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, life cycle and short-term periodic maintenance plan as well as effective inspection & test regime.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and reliability center to define, evaluate, predict, improve, and validate site electrical related equipment reliability metrics via various programs and activities such as performance and condition review, cause failure analysis, troubleshooting etc.
- Develop site electrical related equipment TAR plan and repair method statement, train and improve technicians and contractor skills in maintenance activities.
- Follow BASF continues improving process to optimize sustainability lifecycle management, cost management of site electrical device.
- Collaborate with procurement and contractor management team on external service and contract-out management, including contractor assessment, qualification, technical clarification, bidding, and verification etc.
- Coordinate and support electrical device and spare parts management, including stock/nonstock, repair and procurement policy, BOM & MRP setting etc., also be responsible for specialized facilities and tools management.
- Support project engineering by proposing and justifying needed improvements and typical solutions, supporting design, procurement, and installation.
- Take responsibility for supporting the commissioning and start-up processes by developing procedures, plans, and resource management strategies. Additionally, provide support for field activities including field checks, inspections, solo runs, and performance test reviews.
- Collaborate with BASF global expert to develop the innovation skills and to develop the knowledge base for all strategic skills.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in power electronics, electric motor and drive, motor science; or electrical engineering.
- Working Experience: At least 10 years work experience in electrical related areas. Candidates with experience in petrochemical industry are preferred.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: With deep know-how about electrical, working principle, familiar with electrical fault handling methods and application, familiar with the high voltage motor machine (synchronous and asynchronous). Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing.
