Objectives of the Position         

  • Drive the S&OP planning process and ensure efficient and effective management of materials, collaborating closely with business partners to support their growth and success

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the corporate and SCM strategies, aligning efforts to provide high-quality and efficient service to business partners, while actively seeking opportunities for growth and success

  • Strive for operational excellence by continuously enhancing end-to-end accountability, embracing new challenges and enhancing customer experiences through continuous improvement initiatives

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

  • Coordinate and facilitate the S&OP cycle, overseeing demand planning, supply review and S&OP execution through strong collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

  • Drive planning and material management activities, continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and embracing new challenges with the support of team members

  • Manage capital cost by maintaining optimal stock levels to fulfill customers' demands, while effectively managing slow-moving stock

  • Ensure compliance with GMP SOP, working closely with the regulatory team and logistics service providers to ensure smooth operations and meet GMP requirements

  • Gather market intelligence through daily interactions with business partners, analyze the data, and share insights and ideas with the business as appropriate

  • Proactively engage in regional and global projects SCM-related projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and outcomes

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end process, analyze SCM KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with team members, demonstrating an open mindset toward new ideas

  • Support team members in day-to-day operations and troubleshoot issues by effective collaboration with relevant parties

 

Job Requirements  (minimum requirement to carry out the work)

1. Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of experience in planning, material management, or a supply chain-related field. Regional and/or global experiences are highly valued

 

2. Interpersonal Skills and Collaboration:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative attitude for effective collaboration with cross-functional, regional, and global teams

  • Openness, continuous learning, and a collaborative mindset to foster teamwork

  • Fluent in the local language and English to facilitate effective communication in diverse environments.

 

3. Adaptability and Efficiency:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated confidence in managing complex projects within supply chain management, including strategy, operations, and organizational aspects

 

4. Systems and Certifications:

  • Working knowledge of SAP planning module or other ERP systems is required

  • Holding an APICS certification would be considered an advantage
