Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance

About The Role

• Responsible for QA in SG and to support QA in Malaysia to meet business requirements. Maintain compliance with all regulation and standards.
• Support environmental, health, and safety programs.

How You Will Do It

1. Lead Managing Quality Management System (QMS) for BASF SG/MY and BASF See Sen

• Serves as Deputy Management Representative
• Responsible for Management Review (MR)
• Prepare and report on quality target and key performance indicators
• Oversee Corrective and Preventive Actions
• Support Change Management activities
• Serve as site internal auditor and manage external audit, including customer and supplier audit

2. Customer Management

        Responsible for customer quality enquiry and take the lead in customer non-conformance handling

• Responsible for 8D investigation (root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action; effectiveness checking etc) 8D closure and follow up
• Responsible for customer satisfaction (score card and feedback evaluation etc) and timely share with stakeholders for required actions
• Support customer documents requirements such as product performance report; customer survey report and eCOA inquiry etc)
• Support for customers’ change management request
• Responsible for customers’ request on CIP submission
• Responsible for Statistical Quality Control (SQC) reporting to customers

3. Site QA Management

• Responsible for SG site QA (e.g non-conformance investigation; product handling; incoming and outgoing product quality assurance etc)
• Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer requirements
• Manage e-Spec system for raw material and own manufacturing products
• Responsible for QA platform and knowledge transfer

4. Supplier Management

      Responsible for reviewing supplier’s performance, supplier audit and appraisal to make sure suppliers’ quality system can meet BASF’s QMS requirements

5. Support Product Management and Sales team for New Product Introduction and Existing Product Management

6. Primary EHS Responsibilities

      Follow the practices implemented by the Management in adhering to legal and other requirements 

Requirement:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry science, Chemical technology or other related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry would be an advantage
• Familiarize analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, laboratory technology, ICPMS, GFAAS, ICPOES Titrator, Cleanroom, IC, Particle, SHO, Registered Chemist,
• SGA/MY Legal requirements, ISO 9001
