Senior Process Engineer
About the Role
- According to the supervisor’s direction and plant production guidance, generating state-of-the-art and novel design input for projects and process improvements
- Provide creative solutions where current standard practice does not deliver required results
Technology support during new projects
How You Will Do It
1. Process Management
Design input covering chemistry and chemical engineering to ensure the timely production and quality of finished and intermediate products and to eliminate deficiencies to ensure products meet plant standards
Technical process optimization; monitor and analyze parameters
Analyze complex process problems and identify when to involve additional specialists
Responsibility for process safety, SHE reviews, and follow-up actions implementation
2. Technology Management
Provide feasibility calculations by utilizing scientific tools, literature, and expert networks
Consult, guide, and coach project improvement teams during planning, execution, or trial phases
Define, monitor, and control KPIs for technical processes
Manage process automation and digitalization
3. New Project Support
During new project launch, support the technology manager on operational aspects, including raw materials, training, manufacturing manuals, quality control, and technology-related safety
Provide OpEx plans and monitor implementation of approved OpEx plans
4. New Product Launch
Support R&D in developing formulas for new products
Assist supervisors to ensure smooth and successful product introduction into production
5. Production Documentation
Provide updated records/data to relevant supervisors
Update all production procedures and ISO documents; set up process performance recordings using advanced DCS and online tools
6. Personnel Training
Provide training for MOCs, including basic functions of new chemistry and equipment, start-up procedures, and fine-tuning
What We Look For
1. Education Background: At least bachelor’s in chemical engineering, chemical process. Fine Chemical is preferred
2. Working Experience: More than 5 years’ experience in Chemical plant production, at least 2 years’ experience in management of chemical processes.
3. Technical & Professional Knowledge:
• Analytical skills
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft office tools
• Familiar with ISO9001, SHE reviews, RCMS
