  • Execution of laboratory work in challenging projects in R&D to serve internal and external customers.
  • Participation in innovation projects focused on development of new catalytic materials, processes and technologies.
  • Work and development in different fields including heterogeneous catalysis, catalyst evaluation with testing units, lab scale catalyst synthesis, catalyst scale-up and solid process engineering.


Main Tasks:

  • Under supervision of lab scientist/engineer perform routine scientific research tasks using standard techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  • Hands-on experience on synthesis of solid materials e.g. oxides, zeolites, etc.
  • Hands-on in analyzing and document results, prepare, run and maintain lab equipment such as GC, testing units, automatic gas cylinder system, solid processing equipment etc.
  • Support catalysts characterization activities, therefore, fundamental understanding of characterization and analysis methods such us, GC, BET, XRD PSD, etc. is required.
  • Support catalysts testing activities, therefore. basic understanding of testing of catalytic activity of solid catalysts is needed.
  • Perform general lab assignments (e.g. raw material inventory review, lab housekeeping, purchase lab material and chemicals, etc.) as assigned.
  • Comply with regulations concerning safety, health and environment.
  • Take responsibility on assigned task and deliver results to scientist in time.   



  • Master or bachelor’s degree, major in chemistry or chemical engineering is mandatory (major in chemical engineering is preferred).
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in chemical lab.
  • Good communication skills, high motivation and willingness to perform lab work.
  • Background in catalyst performance testing will be a plus (including study period).
  • Background in mechanics will be a plus (technical competence/skills to repair and maintain equipment).
